It’s Visit Brookings’ Annual Frost Fest! Bundle up and celebrate the season on the outdoor prairie at the Children’s Museum of South Dakota and take part in:
Snow Strider Course
Sledding
Snowga! (10 am and 1 pm)
Snow forts and snow painting
Snowshoeing
Say “hi” to Mama T. Rex and Max
Stay for lunch or have a snack at Café Coteau (Open 8 am to 2 pm Tuesday-Saturday)
(Please note: Some events are snow-permitting. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate though, we can still play .. and even learn how to Make Our Own Snow!)
Operation modifications such as limited capacity, washing hands, staying home when you are sick, physical distancing, and face coverings for everyone 2 and over will be in effect. Our indoor space is closed at this time.
