Aberdeen's America 250 Kickoff! Zonta Time Capsule Reveal

The Time Capsule Exhumation & Reveal Program will feature a color guard presentation, music, and brief remarks honoring the 1976 contributors and the capsule’s historical significance. Museum staff will explain the recovery and opening process and how the contents are documented and preserved. The event will conclude with the planting of a Liberty Tree in the original capsule location, followed by a community celebration with an ice cream truck and other food trucks on site.
