2026 Performance Dates: July 10-12, 17-19, 24-26.
Experience Laura Ingalls Wilder's pioneer spirit with a live theatrical production of Daughter of the Prairie: Laura's Dakota Stories on our outdoor prairie stage. This South Dakota tradition attracts visitors from around the world. Special weekend activities include cemetery tours and Sunday Service on the pageant grounds. Music and activities presented before the show, concessions available. Restaurants, lodging and campgrounds available in De Smet.
