“My Little Prairie Garden” Helen Bergh Education Room (Feb 4 to Apr 29)
Plants, gardens, pollinators, harvest, nutrition, and learning through imaginative play will be the theme of the day in this exciting children’s exhibit to open in February. Winter weather may face us outside, but in this exhibit, spring has come early on the prairie! Children will enjoy planting and harvesting vegetables; learning about bees and other animals as pollinators; selling and buying produce at a farmer’s market; and serving feasts of healthy garden-grown foods to friends and family in the little summer kitchen. Come imagine with us!
