International recording artist and composer Calvin Jones provides an evening of piano music and stories benefitting Ukrainian refugees.
Join us for an evening of piano music with international recording artist and composer Calvin Jones. The evening of piano music and stories is a benefit for the Freedom’s Haven for New Americans’ Workforce, an effort to assist Ukrainian refugees and other immigrants in relocating to South Dakota. Calvin, has performed regularly with orchestras in Ukraine, and along with his Ukrainian wife Inga was in Kyiv when the war started in February. You’ll hear real-life stories from Ukraine and learn about South Dakota’s humanitarian efforts to welcome Ukrainian refugees (and others) to our state.
