Help us welcome SDSU professor emeritus Carter Johnson, co-author of "Ecology of Dakota Landscapes: Past, Present, and Future", for an author talk at the museum. Dr. Johnson’s book includes factual, science-based information on all the ecosystems (grassland, rivers, wetlands, Black Hills, Badlands, agriculture, etc.) found in both North and South Dakota. The book is intended to be read by a general audience interested in natural history, human history, biodiversity, conservation, land use, and geology, among others. This event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.
