South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum - 977 11th St, Brookings SD - 605-688-6226
December 13th, 2021
Starts at 12:00 pm, ends at 1:00 pm

The museum is pleased to welcome Suzanne Hovik Fuller, author of “The Girl Who Moved to the Town That Wasn’t There”, for a full day of educational programs at the museum. Suzanne’s book is written about the founding of the village of Egan in the Dakota Territory and is written for an upper elementary and middle school grade level. The book has won two awards including the 2021 WILLA Literary Award for Children’s Fiction and Nonfiction and a silver award for Children’s Fiction from the Midwest Independent Publishers Association.

While her book is written for elementary and middle school students, this program is geared for adults and will discuss her research and writing process followed by a book signing. This event is FREE and open to the public, but you will be required to bring your own lunch! Water and coffee will be provided.

Make sure to check out our other event with Suzanne, a Special Edition Make & Take Monday, going on later in the day from 3-5 PM.
