"The Potato Capitol of South Dakota"

Clark, SD

The City of Clark is in the middle of Clark County, historically famous for its tremendous pheasant hunting.  Each fall, large numbers of hunters flock to this area to pursue the "Wily Ringneck".  To many, this return to Clark County year after year for the annual pheasant hunt has become an important social event.   Waterfowl hunting and even fishing opportunities have increased over the past years and now add to the popularity of the Clark area.

The annual Potato Day celebration celebrates the area potato harvest.  Festivities include fun and games for the kids, a parade and special attractions which include the "World Famous Potato Wrestling" each year sponsored by the Clark Chamber of Commerce.

Clark is a very progressive community with an Airport, active Downtown Shopping District, Public School, Library, Museum, Community Clubs and more.
